TruSource (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a workspace where teams upload documents and ask questions with source-backed answers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information — email address and authentication credentials when you sign up or sign in.
• Workspace content — documents you upload, chat messages, and metadata associated with your workspaces.
• Usage data — basic logs such as IP address, browser type, and actions needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve TruSource
• Process documents and generate answers within your workspaces
• Authenticate users and enforce workspace access controls
• Respond to support requests and communicate about the service
• Protect against abuse, fraud, and security incidents

We do not use your uploaded documents to train public AI models. Your workspace content is used only to serve your account and the members you invite.

Data storage and security

Documents and workspace data are stored in encrypted form using industry-standard providers. Access is restricted by authentication and workspace membership rules. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers who help us run TruSource (e.g. hosting, authentication, AI inference), subject to confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Retention

We retain account and workspace data while your account is active. If you delete a workspace or account, we delete or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as security logs.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights. You can also delete workspaces and documents directly within the product.
